If you are sowing seeds, do remember to sow appropriate ones to compete in the Horticultural Show on 4th July. There are categories for : Potatoes, carrots, onions, beetroot, lettuce, peas, broad beans, rhubarb, mixed fruit, mixed herbs, and a basket of general garden produce. Very excitingly, for the first time this year, *Allotments *are part of the Garden Competition in the Horticultural Show. So get down to your allotment and start growing all manner of veg and fruit ready to enter!
This Saturday 28th March is the *Spring Show in St John’s Church Hall* . Do enter, it’s just a bit of fun and then come along later (2 – 4.30pm) to see all the exhibits and buy plants at our plant sale. All details on the Gardening Club website (rcgardenclub.co.uk)
