Rowlands Castle History and Heritage is for everyone interested in the history of Rowlands Castle and its surroundings. Our website www.rchc.org.uk contains a wealth of information about the origins of the village, the buildings and people who lived here, as well as a photo gallery of the village, children’s activities and a Heritage Trail. We offer talks in the Parish Hall during the winter on Tuesday evenings – about six lectures a year, several trips in the summer and the occasional exhibition. We are the proud owners of the Rowlands Castle Model Railway, which showcases the Village in the period leading up to the D-Day landings in 1944. We display the model several times a year and all upcoming events are listed on our website on the What’s On page. We are always delighted to welcome volunteers with an interest in local history research, maintaining the model railway or helping with the upkeep of the website. For more information email editor@rowlandscastleheritagecentre.org.uk or history@rowlandscastleheritagecentre.org.uk
