Dear All, Rowlands Castle History and Heritage want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported and attended the Heritage Open Days event at the parish hall. The RCHH are incredibly grateful to our wonderful villagers who came out in such large numbers. Your enthusiasm, warmth, and community spirit made the day truly special. We had over 200 visitors attending from far and wide – Australia, London and as well as across Hampshire. The guided heritage trail walk was very well received too with around 40 visitors. A special mention must go to the Women’s Institute for their wonderful 1946 themed café commemorating their 80th anniversary. The delicious refreshments, lively music and hard work kept everyone smiling and added a fantastic atmosphere to the day. We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to our local businesses and organisations. Your generous support, donations, and displays were vital to the event, and we are fortunate to have such a dedicated community. Share Your Memories! If you took any photos during the event, please send them over to us. We would love to feature them on our website to showcase the highlights of the day. Save the Date for 2027 We are already looking forward to doing it all again. Please mark your calendars for next year’s event, which will take place during the second weekend of September 2027. Thank you all once again for your time, generosity, and for making our village such a vibrant place to live.
