Hello Villagers,
The *Rowlands Castle **Scarecrow Trail* is back this October half term, and we’d love you to get involved!
This year’s theme is *“What I Want to Be When I Grow Up”* – so plenty of scope to get creative. You don’t need to have children or be connected to the school to take part. It’s a whole-village event and one of the things that makes our community feel so special.
No scarecrow-building experience required – just have some fun with it! As well as being a fun community event, the trail also raises much-needed funds for St John’s Primary School. And by entering a scarecrow, you also will have the chance to win one of our four highly coveted trophies.
*Trail dates:* Saturday 24th October – Sunday 1st November
*To enter or find out more: *Email scarecrows@stjohnspta.com or visit www.pta-events.com/stjohnsrowlandscastle/
*Entry deadline:* Monday 5th October
Let’s make this our best trail yet!
Best wishes,
