The February Rowlands Castle History & Heritage meeting will take place this Tuesday 17^th Feb.
The talk will be given by Alan Green. Alan is a local historian, who writes and lectures widely on Chichester’s history and the art and architecture of Georgian Britain.
Alan will be relating the intriguing story of the Chichester ship canal which linked Chichester to the Portsmouth to Arundel canal, a part of an inland canal route between Portsmouth and London.
The meeting will as usual be held in the parish hall at 7:30pm with entrance free to RCHH members and £5 for visitors.
