Dear Residents, Further to my Grapevine message of 26th July I have now registered the Parish Council as an interested party for the Development Consent Order for Southern Water’s proposed Hampshire Water Transfer & Water Recycling Project HWTWRP) (effluent recycling) and submitted a Representation covering 7 Principal Issues that the Examining Authority is requested to examine.

Also posted there is a short ‘Community Guide to submitting a Representation’ that is very helpful. If you wish to register your interest you have until 2359 on Mon 24th August but please study the Guide to help you. You do not need to submit your Representation at the time of registering but by 24th August as the Guide makes clear. You do not need to make a long Representation as the Council has done but can just put in a short Representation, including supporting the PC’s comments if that suits you. The PC has in its submission supported the very detailed and lengthy Water Matters Community Representation on behalf of numerous organisations, including RCPC, so our comments are made specifically about our key concerns to reinforce the Water Matters submission.
