Hello Villagers,
Thank you to those who have already signed up to the annual Rowlands Castle Scarecrow Trail, but we’d love to see as many scarecrows as possible around the village this half term!
The deadline to enter a scarecrow is Monday 5th October.
This year’s theme is “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up” and absolutely everyone in the village is welcome to take part – you don’t need to have children or be connected to the school. Just get creative and have some fun building your chosen scarecrow!
Trail dates: Saturday 24th October – Sunday 1st November Entry deadline: Monday 5th October
To enter, email scarecrows@stjohnspta.com or visit www.pta-events.com/stjohnsrowlandscastle/
There will also be a Prize Giving ceremony, hosted by our wonderful sponsor, The Castle Inn, which will take place on Sunday 1st November at 4pm.
Come and be part of one of our favourite village traditions – and help make this our best trail yet! All funds raised will go directly to supporting our village school.
