Good afternoon to you all
Yesterday I finalised, and submitted the final accounts for our Poppy Appeal collections in Rowlands Castle and Finchdean; and I was absolutley amazed.
As a community we raised an astonishing *£7,350.86* for the Royal British Legion to help it in its work supporting serving and ex-servicemen and their families.
My thanks must go to the wonderful volunteers who man the stand outside Londis come rain, come shine, and sometimes with temperatures going towards zero! To all the businesses and organisations in our village and, not least, to every one of you who gave so generously to this worthy charity.
