May Day Picnic on the Village Green Monday 4th May ‘May the 4th be with you!’
Starts at 12 midday until 3pm
Build your own ‘Droid’ competition. As it is ‘May the 4th’ we are holding a competition to make a “Droid’ out of recycled material. See the posters around the village.
There are 3 age groups for entries:- 2 to 5 years of age 5 to 10 years of age 10 years to adult There will be sign up sheets at the competition table on the day.
We are also holding 2 games which will involve parents and their children to take part.
There will be:- The Blendworth Brass Band Small Children’s Fairground Rides Bring your own Picnic, your blankets and chairs. We will have a BBQ with Burgers and Sausages, cooked by the Rowlands Castle Scouts. Enjoy a few hours of community fun and help us to raise funds for The Rowans Hospice.
We could do with a few volunteers to help put up the marquee and then take it down again. The times for help would be 10am and then 3.15pm
Please contact secretary@rowlandscastle.com and come early on the 4th May to help please.
