Good afternoon,
I am sure by now the majority of the village would know the result of Local Government Reorganisation.
The minister has decided to separate Rowlands Castle, Horndean, and Clanfield away from East Hampshire. The plan is to join Havant, Portsmouth, Fareham, and Gosport.
East Hampshire will join New Forest, Test Valley, and Winchester (my preferred rural choice) unfortunately, Cllr’s were given one proposal ONLY which the minister didn’t pick.
Unfortunately for us, I feel this is a land grab opportunity. I tried my best to stand up for the village, and will continue to keep fighting.
