A reminder that the M27 will close in both directions between Junctions 9 (Whiteley) and 11 (Fareham) from 8pm on Christmas Eve 24th December, until 4 am on 4th January 2026.
This will enable a major highways upgrade to take place. There is a signed diversion route on the A27 but it is expected to be busy. Avoid a festive headache and plan ahead, use alternatives such as public transport, or consider if your journey is necessary.
