Grapevine appeal for volunteers to help at this year’s Rowlands Castle Village Fair – 4 July 2026
Let me start by first saying many thanks to those of you that have volunteered already. This year’s event is likely to be a great one.
We’re sold out of real estate on the green, with over 50 spaces already booked by local businesses and groups! We have more choice of food (BBQ, Paella or pizza) and a fantastic line up of free music until late.
However, we still have open volunteer slots to fill.
These are for;
Collecting money for the kids bungee jump (hour slots between 12 and 4pm) Collecting money and serving food (need more people from 1pm until early evening) A couple of hours late, from morning, to process dog show entrants Additional helper(s) in the afternoon selling raffle tickets
We could also do with a few more strong bodies late Friday afternoon to help with the setup of the green, as well as the more sedentary job of cutting up the fruit for Pimms
Please sign up at rcvf.org.uk/volunteer/ or by emailing enquiries@rcvf.org.uk
This fair is organised and run by the village for the village. Cheers…Grahame _______________________________________________ Grapevine mailing list: info@rowlandscastle.com
