The Gardening Club will be working with Petersfield Climate Action again this winter to supply great value fruit trees to the residents of Rowlands Castle. Here are the key dates to note if you want to buy any fruit trees for your garden or allotment.
Application period (online purchase via PeCAN website) 25 Nov to 31 Dec.
Collection of trees (Redhill Rd, Rowlands Castle) 17 January 2026, 10-30 to 12-00.
These are good quality bare-root trees with stakes at a heavily discounted price from a reputable nursery- most are 1.5 to 2 metres tall. Varieties and prices are not yet finalised, but previously was £12 to £15, with some/all of the following species- Apricot, Apple (cooking, desert and crab), Cherry. Greengage, Plum, Pear, Filbert, Cobnut.
