‘Corks a popping!’ A ‘Call My Bluff’ type wine tasting evening. We are thrilled to announce a festive evening of wine and laughter, to be held at St John’s Church at 7.30pm on Saturday 18th April. This light-hearted event will feature four spirited rounds of “Wine Call My Bluff” – if you’ve never played before, now’s the perfect time to join in the fun! During the event, the excellent wines will be on sale kindly supplied by Portal, Dingwall and Norris wine merchants. There will also be a fun wine-quiz, cheese and crackers (gluten free available upon request), a raffle of course, and Prizes for the winners. People will sit on tables of 6-8, so the wine tasters can confer on their guesses. All the profits from this event will go to CASK Research, a charity set up by Laura Hattersley who lives in Rowlands Castle. More information about this condition can be found at:- caskresearch.org/ Since Laura set up the Charity, she has been instrumental in enabling promising research projects at a number of Universities, including Portsmouth.
