AUTUMN WORK PARTY – NEXT SATURDAY, 7 NOVEMBER
There’s still time to sign up for our Autumn Work Party at Saint John’s Church next Saturday, starting at 9:30am.
We’ll be getting the churchyard and grounds looking their best for winter and Remembrance Sunday. There are jobs to suit all ages and abilities, both indoors and outdoors. You don’t need to stay all day – every pair of hands helps!
A FREE LUNCH will be provided for volunteers.
Please bring gloves, suitable clothing and footwear, and gardening tools if you have them.
Our work will also help prepare for SUNDAY’S REMEMBRANCE EVENTS, to which everyone in the village is invited:
10:00am – REMEMBRANCE SERVICE Saint John’s Church
10:50am – REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY War Memorial (the road will be closed)
PLEASE SIGN UP ONLINE so we can plan the jobs and catering:
