We’re getting in touch to let you know we’ll be carrying out work near your home soon to keep the railway safe and reliable. The work will involve using handheld and mechanical tools and lighting for the safety of our workforce. We work around the clock (24/7) to keep the railway running smoothly for passengers and freight, when the timetable is the quietest. Our work is often noisy, late at night and on weekends. The nature of the tasks means we can’t prevent all noise, but our teams will try to minimise this as much as possible. We’re sorry if we disturb you.
