‘Among the Ashes’ (learn lament with the persecuted church).
What do we do when everything falls apart? How do we pray when God seems distant or even absent? How do we learn to wait with patience and hope? Where can we turn when we find ourselves standing amongst the ashes.
There are 5 inspirational films set in a variety of locations around the UK, it combines biblical reflection with stories from the persecuted church to explore how the biblical principle of lament can bring us hope and comfort, even in the darkest situations.
Everyone is welcome to attend this course, which begins on Monday 19th February 2024 and runs over 5 weeks.
Venue: St. Johns Church Centre, 120 Redhill Road
Time: 7.15 pm for 7.30 pm (aiming to finish by 9pm)
Dates: Mondays 19th, 26th February and 4th, 11th, 18th March.
