It’s that time of year when we announce this year’s scarecrow trail theme, drum roll please.
This year’s theme is: ‘Superheroes and Princesses’
The scarecrow trail this year will be on Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November 2025 (9am-5pm daily)
The annual Rowlands Castle Scarecrow Trail is brought to you by St John’s Primary School PTA.
This year’s theme offers a large number of Superheroes and Princesses to pick from. It’s an opportunity to have fun, get creative, and experience the community spirit.
To enter a scarecrow:
* Email scarecrows@stjohnspta.com with your chosen ‘Superhero or Princess’ (first-come, first-served) * We will reply with confirmation, an entry form, payment details, and other relevant information. * £10 entry fee * Deadline to enter by Monday, 6th October 2025
By entering a Scarecrow, you have a chance to win one of three trophies with a cash prize:
* People’s Choice Trophy and £50 * Judge’s Pick Trophy and £50 * Best Eco Scarecrow Trophy and £50 *
Special thanks to our Headline sponsor, The Castle Inn, who have kindly sponsored our event.
Also, please email chair@stjohnspta.com if:
* You could host an estate agent board outside your house and help advertise the trail. * You own a business or work for an employer and want to increase brand awareness and visibility in the local community of thousands. There are still sponsorship opportunities available to be involved in the Scarecrow Trail, which attracts many people from the village & beyond! *
