Return of the South Downs Rambler Bus Service

Once again this Summer, the popular South Downs Rambler bus service will operate between Petersfield and Winchester on Sundays from 23rd July until 24th September. The service falls under the national £2 single fare cap, so getting out and about along the South Downs Way this Summer will be even more value for money for passengers. Alternatively you can purchase a ‘Hop on, hop off’ all day ticket for only £9 (adult) and £6.20 (child). The Rambler service takes in the scenic route from Petersfield to Winchester and back via:
* The Langrish House Hotel and traditional pubs in the vicinity * Iron Age Fort at Old Winchester Hill * National Trust gardens at Hinton Ampner * Views at Cheesefoot Head * Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium.
A great and affordable way to leave your car at home and take in the South Downs by bus! The timetable can be viewed on the Community Noticeboards in the village centre and Finchdean or by visiting easthampshirerail.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/SOUTH-DOWNS-RAMBLER-BUS-2022.pdf – please note that this is last year’s link (2023 has not been updated yet) but the timetable and information remain exactly the same.
