The next u3a monthly meeting will be held as usual in the Parish Hall at 2.00 pm on Monday 20th May. The meeting will begin with a short AGM and will be followed by the monthly talk. Our speaker this month is Wendy Soliman whose talk will be entitled ‘How I became the Author of over a hundred books in later life’. Wendy writes historical and paranormal romance and Victorian crime under her own name, she also writes contemporary crime as Evie Hunter and cosy crime as E.V. Hunter. Wendy will also talk about the changes she’s seen in the Publishing world since the e-book revolution knocked the big five publishers from their perch and explain the challenges and pitfalls faced by the modern-day writer.
