St John’s Church will be celebrating the annual HARVEST FESTIVAL at both the 8 am and 10 am services this Sunday and the church will be decorated accordingly. As we thank God for the abundance of foods we enjoy, we think of those who might be in shorter supply…… so…..
Contributions for the Beacon Food Bank in Havant will be very much appreciated.
Items particularly needed are: Coffee and Tea; Pasta Sauces; Rice; Sugar (500g); Cereals; Soup; Tinned Meat; Tuna; Tinned Vegetables or Fruit; Baked beans; Custard; Rice Puddings; Bottles of Squash; Biscuits; Cooking Sauces;Jam or Marmalade; Meals in a tin
Thank you very much in anticipation of your participating in this! If you are unable to shop in person, the Food Bank also welcomes money gifts to purchase foods too. Just put your contribution in an envelope marked ‘FOOD BANK’ and it can be passed on.
