Please be aware that the scheduled carriageway repairs in the village centre, recently postponed due to insufficient notice to local businesses, will now be carried out this coming Wednesday, 12th July. We understand that the work will involve temporary two-way traffic lights and the closure of parking bays outside Londis Stores, Home Hardware and the disabled bay outside the Doctor’s Surgery. It would therefore be wise to avoid driving into the village on Wednesday if at all possible.
All shops and amenities will be open for business as usual.
