Remembrance Sunday is November 12th 2023
Armistice Day is Saturday November 11th.This commemorates the signing of the armistice at the end of WW1. The Union Flag will be lowered at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. The Last Post will be sounded. Please gather on The Village Green for this short ceremony to remember those who have fought and died for our peace.
