It was a glorious summer day’s last Saturday when we held the St John’s Primary School PTA Summer Fair.
Once the friendly, dancing Olaf opened the fair, the school grounds were filled up with children & their friends & families excitedly exploring all the fair had to offer.
We had musical theatre, police cars, tennis & football challenges, the very popular spat the teacher/christen the vicar, mega-inflatables, crafts, bottle tombola, the MEGA raffle and new to this year ‘poo in the loo(!)’ plus numerous other fun activities and stalls for the whole family to enjoy.
The PTA are now eager to announce the grand total made at this year’s Summer Fair…..
An amazing……..£5,556!!!
I’m sure you’ll agree that’s a fantastic amount for a village school and makes the hard work by everyone all worthwhile.
A HUGE thank you to anyone that helped in the lead up and on the day itself, there are too many to name but we couldn’t have done it without all of our lovely volunteers, staff and helpers from across the school & village community. And of course, thank you to those that came and supported the school by attending the fair. We very much hope you enjoyed yourselves and had fun in the sun!
