Dear Villagers
The scarecrow trail starts tomorrow! Saturday 25th October – Sunday 2nd November 2025 (9am-5pm daily) and the theme this year is: ‘Princesses and Superheroes’
Come and join in the fun with family and friends. You’ll get a few hours of entertainment as you walk around our beautiful village, spotting the wonderful scarecrow creations (including one made by children and staff in the Scarecrow Club at school!). The trail is buggy, wheelchair, scooter, and bike-friendly, and everyone is welcome for one of the best-value family days out on the South Coast. Plus there is an extra special scarecrow made by St John’s Church located at St John’s church which is not part of the trail so please check it out.
Maps are now on sale (£5, cash only, please) at Rowlands Castle Home Hardware and the Londis, both on the village Green. You can also buy online from www.pta-events.com/stjohnsrowlandscastle<www.pta-events.com/stjohnsrowlandscastle>
