Although the day started off early morning overcast with the odd shower, the sun broke through around 10:00 to give us a beautiful May Day (although when the wind blew it did make it a little chilly!).

A good crowd came out from the very young to the young at heart. Over 100 people turned out to hear the Blendworth Brass Band perform varied music to their usual high standards.

The May Day Picnic was in aid of the local charity, The Rowans Hospice.
