How It Works
We have your name and telephone number on our answering service with your request for help.
The Duty Coordinator who picks up the message will be arranging a volunteer to help you. You will receive a call from the co-ordinator giving you the name of the volunteer and the time the volunteer will arrive to pick you up or help you.

We are a voluntary organisation and rely on the availability of our members. Where a journey is involved you will be asked if you would like to make a donation based on the mileage and telephone expenses. Your volunteer will advise you of the appropriate donation, but typical examples are listed under ‘Cost of Journeys’.
