Rowlands Castle Historical Society
Meet monthly in the Parish Hall during the winter on Thursday evenings as
arranged. We have about six lectures a year, several trips in the summer and the
occasional exhibition. Subs are £5 a year. Guests at lectures are always
welcome at £1.50. Historical queries may be directed to

Rowlands Castle Painting Society
2nd and 4th Tues. Oct.-May at Parish Hall. Sessions at 2pm (practical work) and
7.30pm (expert demonstration). 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 2pm - Life Classes.
Exhibitions of members’ work held. Sketching expeditions in summer. Membership
enquiries to Ann Webber (9241 2599).

Amateur Dramatic Society
Wednesdays, 8pm in Parish Hall. Usually two productions a year (March &
November). Sometimes extras in Summer. Also social activities. Anyone interested
in joining please come along on Wednesday evening.
Rowlands Castle Gardening
Club
Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall, Links
Lane. We have a programme of speakers throughout the year and go on garden
visits during July and August. New members and guests always welcome.

Rowlands Castle Duplicate Bridge
Club
Meets Wednesday evening at 7pm in the St. John the Baptist Church Hall. Friendly
competitive duplicate bridge using bidding boxes. Partners can be found given

Rowlands Castle Craft Market
Monthly in the Parish Hall on a Saturday morning from 10am to 1pm. See local

Mobile Library
Normal visiting times:- PLEASE NOTE - this will change from 4th July.
Rowlands Castle: about every four weeks, 9.50 - 10.30, near the Fountain
pub on the Green.
Finchdean: about every four weeks from 10.45 - 11.15 at the George.
